PostSubject: SOLVED - mesh deforms weirdly with the armature/animation   Wed Aug 23, 2017 10:16 pm

Well that is a scary shit.
Anyone knows how to fix that? o_o
Already hit the rotation and object data stuff in blender, but its still doing that?

It looks like the mesh is actually too smal for the armature.

BE PREPAIRED, THIS IS SCARY!

i think that's because of the skeleton, it did that to me as well more than once lol

try re-exporting the mesh and skeleton and put that in the game <:

Make sure for all of your animations all the parts are weight painted. Sometimes some parts can be missing without weight-paint and have it deformed as shown in your video.

I already re-exported it several times and all parts are weightpainted.
So this seems to be infixable.
I scaled the mesh up in blender, but the exported mesh is still the tiny version. The skeleton fits the bigger version.

1. model can be highly polygoned
2. take skeleton from oIT models and edit for your model <- i always take from oIT(since when I made skeleton without using oIT, i always was getting broken stuff), never caused any problems with models unless it's highly polygoned
and yes, unfortunately you'll need to re-animate it

hope it helped ^^

maybe the skeleton's size was changed in object mode?
make sure the size is 1-1-1 on both the mesh and armature, same for location and rotation
