PostSubject: How to create a Screenshots Directory   Mon Nov 21, 2016 2:40 am

After several tries and looking through several topics, I was able to comprehend and understand how to create a Screenshots Directory for your screenshots.

If you have had/are having a similar issue, see below!

Please Note that this Tutorial is assuming you have prior knowledge regarding the Source Code. If you are still unsure of how to compile your own Impressive Title server or how to navigate the Source's expansive files, please refer to a posted tutorial!

  •    STEP I - Open your Impressive Title Source Code via. the 'Solution' file in your KITO-master folder. It's icon will look like this (Since I got confused with the other two files which were also called 'Solution')

  •    STEP II - Once the Source Code has opened, search for 'ogremagix' in the Search Solution Explorer on the upper right sidebar. It will come up with several different files. Look for the one that has the name 'ogremagixFrameListener' and double click it.

  •    STEP III - Of course, you will see a lot of daunting, unfamiliar text. Press Ctrl+F and in the small box that pops up, type in 'screenshot'. It will locate all the places within the current file that include the word screenshot.

  • STEP IV - Now. Here is the defining moment. Look carefully. The search should have taken you directly to one spot. You will see two codes here, look for the one that says the following
    mWindow->writeContentsToTimestampedFile("screenshot", ".PNG");

    Select that line of code, and replace it with this.

  • STEP V - Now, everything should be in order. Build and organize your files. One last thing to do. Go into your 'client' folder and create a folder called 'screenshot'. This is where your newly taken screenshots will be added.

CreateDirectory("screenshots", NULL);
 mWindow->writeContentsToTimestampedFile("screenshots/screenshot", ".PNG");
 mMagixHandler->getMagixGUI()->getAlertBox()->showAlert("Screenshot saved to screenshot folder!", 0.5, 0.5);

From the thread: http://www.kitopen.com/t3955-some-chat-stuff

However, this is very useful when you are looking for just the directory code. Thanks for posting this.
