Howdy,

so I tried to find guides on how to add an particle file on item, but I could not find any... No idea what I am saying? Right, so, imagine that when you equip item it will give you a... a shard! Or, Fire tail! For example, equipping an "Ice Necklace" will grant you Blue Shard, but you will not have the blue shard in the inventory. Only the item you equipped. Right, let me tell you how.

So, go to your Items.cfg and find item you want to edit.

Now, find particle you want to use. You can use whatever particle you have in game, if you are not skilled with making particles, do not mess with anything and just use the basic particles:
Blueaura (Blue Shard)
Flameaura (Fire Shard)
Greenaura (Green Shard)
Redaura (Red Shard)
BlueSoul (Blue Soul)
BlueFlame (Fire Tail, Fire Paws)
Flame (Tail Fire)

StarAura (Stars) - Not sure about this one.
--- etc.

So, now, let's add "Fire Shard" to my "Fire Element". How? Easy. Copy this from your particle:

Code:
;1;0;0;ParticleName;0 0 0;Rotation
and paste it to your item, for example:
Code:
necklace8;Heart Necklace;Head1;0
Now, you will delete the "0" at end and paste your EDITED ";1;0;0;ParticleName;0 0 0;Rotation" code. It should look something like this:
Code:
necklace8;Heart Necklace;Head1;0;0;0;Flameaura;0 0 0;2

Noice. Now save Items.cfg. Go to your game, spawn your item and equip it. It should give you whatever particle you wrote in the code, so for me, my Heart Necklace gave me Fire Shard.

- If you have any questions, ask below.

- update, thanks to nakti -
For private item use after "head1" for example, number "1".
Code:
Head1;1;0;0
For public item, use number "0".
Code:
Head1;0;0;0

The ";1" after the bone name (Head1, for example) makes the item private so player cannot spawn it. Change it to ";0".

That's guide about how to add a particle on item, not about making the item public/private Wink

If one copies your code directly as it is, he won't be able to spawn an item.

There are not much public items with particles in default IT.
