PostSubject: Moderator Aura help   Sat Nov 07, 2015 12:34 pm

(Sorry if my wording is a little bit weird, i'm really tired)

So, i searched this up, but all the threads seem to direct to codes before 6.0.

I want to add a mod aura to my server Very Happy

but........ i need a little bit of help as always.

Like the pvp code, i would like to know how some things are written, i don't wanna break something on accident ^^

Do i change this:

Code:
               mDef->isModOn = true;
               mChatManager->message("Mod mode on");
               //mNetworkManager->sendInfo(INFO_MODON);
               //mUnitManager->createParticleOnUnit(mUnitManager->getPlayer(),"RisingShards",-1,true);
            }
            else if (tParam == COMMAND_MODOFF && mDef->isMod && mDef->isModOn)
            {
               mDef->isModOn = false;
               mChatManager->message("Mod mode off");
               //mNetworkManager->sendInfo(INFO_MODOFF);
               //mUnitManager->destroyParticleOnUnit(mUnitManager->getPlayer(),"RisingShards");

to this?:
Code:
               mDef->isModOn = true;
               mChatManager->message("Mod mode on");
               (),"RisingShards",-1,true);
            }
            else if (tParam == COMMAND_MODOFF && mDef->isMod && mDef->isModOn)
            {
               mDef->isModOn = false;
               mChatManager->message("Mod mode off");
(),"RisingShards");

err, something like that. i think the code above would break something (result of being overtired)

If not, please let me know what i need to write.

(sorry if i seem worthless and lazy, Coding is quite confusing for me >.>

now, i gotta go to bed so i don't break something regardless)

Aight, i'll try the code from Cloud's post (don't sue me cloud >.>)

Thank you <3

Oh it's nice and shiny (floaty lights, idk if it's supposed to be that way, i'll re-do the code myself and find out) now i'm going to find out how to fix it on my own Wink

(all i need is a little line from magixnetworkmanager.cpp i believe XD)

In MagixGUI.h (5.5 and below) I think it might be a .cpp in 6.0
Code:
//mNetworkManager->sendInfo(INFO_MODON);
                  //mUnitManager->createParticleOnUnit(mUnitManager-

Uncomment these two lines then rebuild the source.

Question is; Did you re-build the solution?
Also,don't forget to turn mod on and restart the game.
