Currently meshes that are using
Code:
ambient 1 1 1
And meshes using this in the .material files are overexposed with lighting and are not effected by any lighting really.

The purpose of this little tuut is to showcase this:
Lighting at dawn/sunrise



Midday



Little later



Night


Also notice the building on the left is affected by a red light

The secret is in the ambient and specular pass parameter

Easy to do is:

ambient 0.3 0.3 0.3 1
specular 0 0 0 1 128

I couldn't get it to work on the terrain just yet.

Nice tutorial. May be useful in the future, Especially when its able to be used on terrian :3

Just curious,

Was there ever a way of doing this to the terrain?
If not can I possibly have the code for the night cycle used on the KITO server.
I need a decent night time effect ingame.
